Our Hill Country roads face an obvious risk: More cyclists mean more potential for irritated motorists. Both cyclists and motorists utilize our Hill Country Roads rightfully, but sloppy riding raises the ire of motorists. Do your part, please share the road and abide by the following:
Do abide by all laws and regulations.
Do ride single file when cars approach from behind
Do deploy courtesy and go the extra mile to be a polite road user
Do inform, nudge and otherwise educate all cyclists about their responsibilities when riding on Gillespie County roads.
Do be considerate of the additional wear and tear that bicycles may inflict on lodging facilities, including hotels, motels, inns, and B&Bs.
Don't Mess With Texas (and don't litter either!)
